La Luz Del Dia in Globe

A real hometown cafe with made to order food. Some menu items named after regulars. Fresh made hash browns and French fries... none of that frozen stuff. Famous menudo. Great green chili and old fashioned hamburgers. Photo shows hot tea I brought in from Vida e Caffe up the street.

Breakfast was wonderful. Just the right touch of homemade & family atmosphere that makes your morning. From the fresh coffee to my breakfast burrito I enjoyed my meal. My Sonny started his day with the fluffy hit cakes. Mmm. He loved it!And the prices for our meal was great. I gave the extra for my tip..

Such a friendly place and the food is delish!

Maybe we ate there on an off day. The food was by far the worst I've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered a taco and tostada. The meat in no way tasted like beef. The lettuce and tomatoes were slopped on and cut way too big to stay on top while eating. The cheese was grated very thick and had little taste. Worst of all was that my food was swimming in water, probably from the tray the veges were scooped from. Other than the strange mystery meat, the meal had no flavor and was very disappointing.The icing on the cake was when I went to the register to pay and saw the unsanitary conditions the food was being prepared in. I wished I would have checked it out before the meal.Strange thing was that my wife and I noticed that even though the grills were constantly in use, all you smelled was stale grease the whole time we were there.

Pancakes were not as I remember. Small and 1 was patted that it made it taste weird. Overall still a great place to have breakfast

Their food is prepared out in the open part of the restaurant - somewhat like Japanese restaurants. The smells are quite delightful. Our server was very gracious and the food was very flavorful and tasty. I don't go often since the seating arrangement is very limited. I just wish they had their bakery- their pastries were delightful. I happy to see they continue their tradition of good Mexican cuisine.

I had the chorizo with scrambled eggs and it came with hand grated hash browns, pinto beans and a warm buttered tortilla. Best breakfast I've had in a really long time! Great price and the staff is friendly and attentive!

Your Nana's home cooked Mexican food. Small cozy type place packed, people waiting for tables, which is a good sign. Food kind of took awhile but I didn't mind after it arrived because this is literally a home cooked meal prepared in the same room. Great service delicious food. Wish they had chips with their salsa but I'd still return for a great breakfast.

I stopped in the Wal-Mart near Globe while driving through and asked the clerk for a good local place to eat. She turned me onto this great cafe. A fantastic dinner and bakery with a exceptional staff. Always like to eat local vs corporate when on the road. Huevos Ranchero are a knock out.

Great prices and good food. But, the 5 star rating is really for the staff. Everyone was very nice and just clearly loving their work and having a good day. It was a great environment.

Everyone except the owner, has horrible customer service. Especially ordering over the phone. Also the cook & one of the servers that work fridays and saturdays can't seem to mind their business. In fact they'd rather talk about a customers personal life while they are dining, so yes, i don't think I'll be coming here again.

Always great food and service

Fantastic food! I had the pastrami sandwich and it was excellent. My wife had the special and she said she would have it again any day. We like the "old timey cafe" feel to the restaurant. The waitress was attentive and cheerful. Don't miss eating here if you're rolling through town.

Good old fashion home cooked breakfast

I’ve quite literally eaten here my whole life so I’m biased about how great it is. If you want to have a wonderful breakfast made with REAL food made almost quite literally in front of you this is where you eat! Whether you want breakfast burros or a full plate specialty breakfast it’s all good! The hash browns and fries are made fresh daily! I know they have lunch items but I rarely eat them 😂😂😂. They close early at they are mainly a breakfast and lunch place but they are open super early!!

They always serve fresh home cooked food. Their portions are large and well made.

Just pulled up. It's Wednesday, 9:00am and they are closed. Did you guys close down permanently? I hope not. The food especially the huevo rancheros are amazing.

Food was ok but service was bad. Two out of three waitresses on their cell phones. The third not paying attention. Only two customers. Service was terrible

Stopped by on a road trip south to Duncan. What a fabulous little place! Hash browns were perfect, and try Mike's Tacos! Friendly wait staff. Highly recommend!

Fantastic food and a great place for breakfast. Service is very friendly and quick. Restaurant is a little small but doesn't feel cramped. I usually order the chorizo and egg breakfast which is delicious.

They have the best breakfast every. The diced potatoes are really good and they will fix your breakfast just however you want it.yum yum
